Stock Portfolio ("the app") is a personal finance app built by Roy Merrill. Your privacy is important. This policy explains what data the app uses and where it stays.
The app stores the following data locally and, if you have iCloud enabled, synced across your own devices via CloudKit:
This data is yours. It is never sent to any server operated by the developer.
If you choose to enter a personal Finnhub API key, it is stored exclusively in your device's Keychain. It is never logged, synced to iCloud, included in crash reports, or transmitted anywhere other than directly to Finnhub's servers when fetching a price quote.
The app fetches stock price quotes from Finnhub (finnhub.io) either via a shared proxy or directly using your personal Finnhub key. Requests contain only the ticker symbol being queried. No account information, portfolio details, or personal data are included in these requests.
The app does not include any third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or crash reporting services. No usage data is collected by the developer.
If iCloud is enabled on your device, your portfolio lots sync across your own devices through Apple's CloudKit. This data is governed by Apple's privacy policy and is not accessible to the developer.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.
